Day 1 - Epic Prologue - Friday, Oct. 15 2010:

Meet: Ochoco Ranger Station - 8:30am

Ride: Leaves from Ochoco Ranger Station, 9:00am

We will meet at the Ochoco Ranger Station below Lookout Mountain in the Ochoco National Forest. Our ride climbs steadily to Walton Lake, then to the summit of Round Mountain. A wicked fast descent and short climb brings us to the aid station at the Saddle below Lookout Mountain. The trail climbs steeply for about 5 miles to the summit of Lookout Mountain and from there, the descent begins - extremely technical with exposure at first, then just fast, flowy single track back to the starting point for a total of 8 miles of descending (with three climbs for good measure). We're probably going to host a simple meal and beverage at the parking area, but stay tuned for details...

Day 2 - Epic and Recreational - Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010:

Meet: at the Old Mt. Bachelor Park & Ride (on Simpson Ave.) AT LEAST 30 minutes prior to your Shuttle departure time.

Shuttle Departures:

     Epic - 7:00am SHARP!

     Recreational - 9:00am SHARP!

Party: 5:00pm to 10:00pm Deschutes Brewery's Mountain Room (top floor of their brewing facility on Colorado Ave.)

Day 3 - Finale - Sunday, Oct. 18 2009:

Meet: 10:00am at Scout Lake Day Use Area

Rider Meeting: 10:45am at Scout Lake Day Use Area

Ride: Departs at 11:00am

There are some changes afoot for the Classic Sunday BBFT ride. I'll let it slip out that the ride starts and finishes at Scout Lake, instead of the standard Corbett Snow Park. We will post updated directions soon, but keep in mind you're driving to a different location on Sunday morning this year and the ride will be slightly longer. Cache Mountain is so beautiful in the Fall, it's a great way to cap off a great weekend. Hope to see you out there!

Note: We reserve the right to change any of these routes for any reason at any time. mKay?
